Where love for Art and Culture begins
Online Gallery is not a corporation. It is the two of us — an engineer who fell in love with art, and a woman who sees beauty before anyone else does.

How it started
In 2009 Vincent Moleveld — a civil engineer without any art background — started a small Dutch blog about art and culture called OnlineGalerij.nl. What began as curiosity became an obsession: studio visits, exhibitions, two years of talking about art on Dutch business radio. Art had taken hold of him, and it never let go.
After ten years the blog had grown into something bigger than the Netherlands, and Vincent realised his real dream was not writing about art — it was building a home for the people who make it. OnlineGallery.art was born: an international platform purely for artists, where art lovers connect with artists directly and artists keep what they earn.
The two of us
Today Vincent runs Online Gallery together with his wife, Hilly-Anne Baars. Vincent is the technical one — he builds the platform, the websites, the tools that make an artist's life easier. Hilly-Anne is the eye. She feels people, she is driven by love, and that gives her a rare, sharp sense for beauty. When she stops scrolling, we know a work is special.
That combination — his craft, her heart — is what Online Gallery is made of.
What we believe
Artists should own their audience, their sales and their story. That is why we charge no commission, why buyers pay artists directly, and why every artist here can have a website that is truly theirs. Your art. Your website. Your rules.
